River levels are high to start out the month of November. Steelhead are trickling in and are spread out in the Muskegon River. With the fish spread out, backbouncing has been our most productive technique for putting fish in the boat. Also, bobber-dogging beads or eggs has brought fish to the net. Covering water works best with the current water conditions. We usually get a good November push of fish, so November and December are great months to book a steelhead charter. We have also been fishing the Grand. The best fishing has been up near the 6th street dam. But as river temps cool and river levels drop, the downstream water will fish good. Hopefully we will see a break in the rain so that will happen. These fall steelhead are worth pursuing, get in touch with me for available dates.
