November 8, 2020

We have had quite a weather roller coaster ride here this first week of November. From snow and wind to sunny and 70 degrees, welcome to Michigan! West Michigan rivers are low and clear at this time, and with very little precipitation forecasted in the near future, it looks like they will stay that way for awhile. I personally prefer it when the rivers set-up like this, it just seems to open up so many more fishing opportunities for steelhead. We have been running our fall steelhead trips on the Grand and Muskegon rivers, and running our normal program of float fishing beads and spawn bags and back-bouncing eggs. What a great time to be on the river. November and December are both months I look forward to because of the potential for dime bright, trophy sized steelhead. I have a few November dates available yet and a good amount of December dates open at this time. We will be on the water fishing all fall and winter, so get in touch with me if your interested in getting out. Also, its not to early to get your spring steelhead, summer smallmouth or next falls King salmon trip reserved. Give me a call or text at (616) 813-5989 if you want to talk about a future fishing trip. I can also be reached by email at steel-header@live.com.
