Pictured above is client and good friend Chuck with a great spring steelhead. The steelhead fishing has been good for us as we begin the spring season. We have been catching new fish, fish that have been around awhile and have yet to spawn and drop back fish on our recent trips. At this time, most West Michigan rivers are experiencing high water conditions. The high-water levels and the warmer temperatures that are being forecast should really get the spring run going. I’m anticipating that the next 3 weeks should be good fishing. I have some spring dates available through April. If you’re thinking about a trip, get in touch with me to discuss what dates are open.
