The spring smallmouth bass bite has been good on both the Grand and Muskegon Rivers. The trout fishing has been good on the Muskegon River and other northern rivers. I have been doing combo trips on the Muskegon River, starting the day out trout fishing and then switching to smallmouth bass as the day goes on. We have been catching both trout and bass on spinners, small crankbaits and plastics. We have also been coming across the occasional walleye and northern pike on the Muskegon and Grand. Get in touch with me if you are interested in a late spring/summer charter. These are great trips for kids and adults. A variety of fish can be caught, and the action is usually steady from start to finish. I have very few fall salmon dates left but have plenty of fall steelhead dates available for the upcoming fall. Give me a call if you would like information on any of the river charters, I offer. 616 813-5989
