It has been a great spring steelhead season! With the cool air temps and cool river temps, I would imagine fishing should remain strong the rest of this month and into May. It has been very encouraging to see the steelhead numbers increase from what they had been the last few years. I have been running my trips on the Muskegon River the last few weeks. Bobber fishing with beads or eggs and backbouncing have all been bringing fish to the net.

Beginning mid-May, I’ll be running trout/smallmouth trips. Summer fishing is not far off either. I have a few dates open for fall Kings on the Pere Marquette River, but not many, so get in touch with me regarding availability for those. (616) 813-5989 for trip information or questions.
