Sorry for the lapse in reports, I have been busy on the water. That being said, I would like to thank all those who salmon fished with me this season. You all made it special for me. The fishing was spectacular, and I miss it all ready. If anyone is looking to get on the books for next season, it doesn’t hurt to look into it early as I am probably over half filled for next year.
We have now turned our focus to steelhead. Pictured above is Rob, with a fish he caught today. All area rivers are extremely low, making navigation tricky in some stretches. The rain we got a week ago gave the rivers a little spike in levels but really didn’t do much overall. River temps are slowly starting to cool with the colder nights we have had lately, and steelhead numbers are increasing. Steelhead this time of year are an absolute blast to hook into. Steelhead numbers should continue to increase and hopefully we have a wet November. I will be running steelhead trips through the winter and into spring. If you have questions concerning steelhead or any of our other trips, be sure to reach out to me. Thanks, and good luck out on the water.
