December 29, 2025

A couple more days before we close out 2025 and I want to thank everyone that spent time in the boat with me and made it memorable year. Summer fishing was absolutely fantastic. The fall salmon run was one of the best I’ve had. Also, steelhead fishing was very good last spring as well as this fall/winter. Pictured above is client and friend Matt with a great winter steelhead he caught while fishing with me over the weekend. Yesterday was a wet day on the river, but the rainfall has spiked river levels and should surely bring in fresh fish. Winter fishing has been very good and now, after the rivers settle in, will remain good for the rest of winter. I tell everyone, winter is my favorite time to steelhead fish. Get ahold of me if you are interested. Short notice on trips is usually not a problem during the winter months. I have been spending equal amounts of time on the Grand and Muskegon Rivers and both have been fishing good. I run trips all 12 months of the year for a variety of species. We are very blessed here in West Michigan with quality rivers and fishing. Reach out to me for information on any season or for an up-to-date report. Wishing everyone a happy new year.
