Sorry for the lapse in reports, but we have been busy on the water, with family, and around the house. The steelhead fishing was great all winter. There were plenty of periods when we could not get on the river due to the extremely cold weather, but when we could the fishing was great. We have had some significant rainfall over the last couple days. I would imagine the Grand will be a chocolate milk mess over the next few weeks and the best fishing on that will be at the dam. Personally, I prefer to run my trips elsewhere when that is the case. The Muskegon River level has been on the rise over the last couple of days and has been fishing good. I will more than likely be spending the majority of my time there in the near future, but we will see how things play out. The steelhead numbers across the board have been very good since fall and we are looking forward to a great spring. I have a few March days available yet and some April availability as well. Don’t hesitate to call me for trip information or any questions you may have. Text or phone call works best, and if I don’t answer right away it’s because I’m busy but I will return all calls/texts. We are a full-time guide service, on the water all 12 months of the year. (616) 813-5989. Thanks, and good luck on the water.
