When the weather has allowed us to get out, the Grand River has been fishing good for winter steelhead. I love it on the river this time of year. Angler pressure is low resulting in fish that have not been picked on. If you can locate the fish, they will usually play. The hens are getting plump and we have seen some nice bucks as well this month. Master angler fish are not uncommon this time of year. Get in touch with me if you are interested in a February, March or April steelhead trip. My email is steel-header@live.com or give me a call at 616 813-5989. I have also been booking some spring trout and summer smallmouth trips and fall King Salmon trips are filling as well, so get ahold of me for availability.
