Pictured above is Cameron with a great steelhead he caught while fishing with me recently. The spring steelhead migration is happening, and the fishing has been good. I expect steelhead fishing to remain good through the month of April and possibly into May. The majority of our catch has been new fishing entering the river, but we have also been catching a few fish that are dropping back to the lake. We have also been catching some nice resident trout along with walleye, even though walleye harvest is closed until the end of April. I have been tripping on the Muskegon River which is high due to recent storms. If you are interested in a steelhead charter, I do have some April availability.
