The appropriate weather for fall steelhead fishing has finally arrived. Some rain and cooler temps have steelhead coming into West Michigan rivers. I have been running about 90% of my trips on the Muskegon River. The fishing has been consistent with a few tough days and good days in the mix. The level of the Muskegon has been good and the water clarity has been slightly stained to clear depending on the day or stretch of river. The Grand River has been slowly dropping. It is a little ways away from the level I like to see, but hopefully it will get there. I do have some December dates available yet. Get with me if your interested in getting out in what I consider one of my favorite months to be steelhead fishing. (616) 813-5989 or steel-header@live.com
